I graduated from Texas A&M University with a degree in Health and Kinesiology (Sport Conditioning), and a minor in Neuroscience. I was trained with the Othmer System, which I believe to be one of the most powerful and effective systems out there.

I will be your main neurotechnician you will see day to day to help you start feeling better.

After I had received my Master’s Degree (MSW) as a therapist (LCSW) from the University of Southern California, I began training to conduct NFB. I have been trained to conduct neurofeedback with three different systems.  I have confidence that I have the best system in the world.  There are many different systems, equipment, and practitioner training required to conduct neurofeedback. Intellect LLC utilizes Cygnet equipment and the Othmer Method from EEG Info. I believe they are the world’s leader with the state of the art system in neurofeedback.

OUR STORY

Madison

At the age of 6 I was diagnosed with Tourette’s Syndrome, along with ADHD and OCD. I felt like I had no control over my body, thoughts or life because of it. My mom decided to try neurofeedback for me when I was in middle school after hearing about it from the school counselor. The results from neurofeedback were incredible. I was able to get my life back, I no longer had tics or the intrusive thoughts of OCD in my head. I was able to not only focus on school work but had a newfound interest in the topics being taught. I enjoyed learning because for the first time I could finally focus and sit still.

A few years later I received 2 traumatic brain injuries on the same day, adding up to be my 5th and 6th concussion. The symptoms were severe, I had constant pain, headaches, and migraines every day, dizziness, balance issues, and much more. I could barely walk or talk, my words came out in a jumbled mess. I had a hard time remembering anything short or long term. I couldn’t look at screens, and the lights in rooms gave me piercing headaches. I developed insomnia and depression and felt like a completely different person having no interest in things that I used to love to do. I was in 5 different recovery therapies for 9 months and none of them seemed to be working. I was being seen at the Mayo Clinic where the doctors suggested I be pulled out of school to recover and maybe in a few years I would be able to get my GED. We got a second and third opinion and they all agreed my symptoms were too severe to have a normal life again.

That’s when we went back to neurofeedback. After just 3 months I was able to return to my life. I had no more headaches or dizziness, I no longer suffered from constant pain. I continued my other therapies and were able to see results from them.

My life was changed by neurofeedback. I never would be able to have had a normal life without it. After seeing what the brain was capable of, going from where I was after my brain injuries to where I am now, I knew this was what I wanted to do. I am able to understand what people are going through when they come in, because I have been there. After graduating from Texas A&M I was trained through the Othmer Method to be able to conduct neurofeedback for others, so that they can experience the life changing results I had.

Neurofeedback is my passion and the focus in my practice. Several years ago, my own children had NFB after two of my children suffered from brain injuries. Neurofeedback changed their lives and now they are able to live life to the fullest.

I want you to experience neurofeedback so that you can be who you really are and live life as well as you can.
